Nissan Heisman House
Nissan is once again bringing back The Heisman House marketing campaign. Some of the Heisman trophy winners are new to the house, while others are returning from a previous season. This year’s spots debut Marcus Mariota, the newest Heisman Trophy winner.
Even though these ads showcase the talent, it’d be unfair not to mention the other stars. Ten of Nissan’s highest rated vehicles, including the upcoming 2016 TITAN XD, the 2015 Murano and the all-new 2016 Maxima, are prominently featured throughout the campaign.
The Nissan Heisman House is a vehicle to raise money and awareness for the Heisman Trophy Trust charity. For those who are unfamiliar with this organization, they support amateur athletics with a focus on bringing a sense of community responsibility to underprivileged and disadvantaged youth. So unlike most other reality shows, Nissan’s Heisman House entertains the public and provides for needy children at the same time.
Tour the Heisman House
There’s one more thing. You just might get to take a tour of the Heisman House. Various college campuses will be playing host to a simulated version of the house. This tour will be taking place throughout the college football season leading up to the Rose Bowl. You’ll be able to hang out in the Heisman House living room, as well as having your picture taken with the trophy and meeting a few of the Heisman trophy winners and ESPN talent.
In case you’re wondering where you can watch Nissan’s Heisman House, the obvious answer is ESPN. Alternatively, and more conveniently, you can catch the ads themselves, behind the scenes footage, and outtakes at the Nissan Heisman House website. You’ll also be able to learn about the Heisman Trophy winners, as well casting your vote for this year’s winner.
“Nissan is proud of our continuing role in supporting the work of the Heisman Trust’s outstanding charity efforts, and we’ve enjoyed entertaining fans with our Heisman House campaign over the past four years,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc. “This year we’ve assembled another great cast of roommates and let them loose to showcase their talents, both as the top football players of their eras and as winning performers and media personalities today.”
So take a look at Nissan’s Heisman House and laugh along with their shenanigans. It’s definitely worth your while.
